There might actually be a point to the new spam prevention shit on 4chan, hear me out.
4chan, especially /pol/, have been ravaged by shills and bots lately. I know there have always been a lot of feds and shills there, but in this month especially it's been ramped up to never before seen proportions.
Here are some of the shill threads. They happen every day and are posted nonstop. They usually follow the same repetitive format each time and often even use the same words and very similar images. Note also the

This means that the OP created the thread, then rather than discuss and spend time in his own thread (like most normal posters would) he simply created the thread then abandoned it to make another shit thread or hop a proxy. This is a common tactic with shills.
Importantly, these threads are NOT made to try and change minds or even bait lulzy reactions from 4cucks. These threads exist to drown out any real discussions by filling the entire board with shit. But not just any shit or they could be banned for off-topic threads. They're specially made slide threads designed to make the board so uninteresting that any effortposter, arguer or person who wants to actually have an interesting political discussion stops posting entirely.

Remember that they can't instantly make zero content spam threads to ruin the board. Even if the mods allowed them this would cause a mass exodus from 4chan to some other smaller 'chan and not kill the home of anonymous online right wing dialogue like they want to.
They want people to be consuming a constant stream of slop which seems legitimate "yet is meaningless"
